Spotlighting the Quant veterans: José Miguel Bravo

In 2025, we are celebrating Quant’s 10-year anniversary as an independent company. Some of our professionals have been part of our journey since the early days and one of them is José Miguel Bravo, Business Development Manager in Chile.

José Miguel Bravo joined the company just before Quant was carved out as an independent business in 2015. Since then, he has held several positions starting as Trainee Engineer, continuing his career as Americas Execution Center Engineer, Business Sales Support, and Engineer and HR Manager, leading up to his current position as Business Development Manager in Chile. Having held so many different roles has been challenging – but also rewarding.

– I am very grateful to Quant. This company has given me the opportunity to learn through different challenges, developing myself through different tasks and roles within the organization. This has given me a holistic perspective which I would not have had otherwise, he says.

“Always going above and beyond”

In his current role as Business Development Manager for Chile, one of José Miguel’s main focus areas is bringing added value to our customers. This is also what he highlights when thinking back on the last ten years of his career.

– What excites me the most about working at Quant is when we start new partnerships. We always put a lot of energy and effort into the process, and we are always going above and beyond to develop good value proposals to our customers, so it is truly rewarding when we get the opportunity to start a new partnership and help our customers improve their operations, he says.

– I am proud to say that I have participated in developing several value proposals to win new contracts. But also to be part of the mobilization, start-up, and delivery of our services through the implementation of the Quant Site Operation Model. It has been proven that when we implement our Quant Site Operation Model consistently, we bring results and add value to our customers. That is the biggest satisfaction to me.

The Quant Site Operation Model offers clear processes and roles for managing different functions at the customer site. In addition, continuous improvement mechanisms are built into the processes of the operating model, and José Miguel emphasizes the importance of it. When asked about what advice he would give to someone just starting their career at Quant, this is what he sees as one of the keys to success.

– Learn the Quant Site Operation Model and collaborate with colleagues and customers for its implementation. When we implement it, we succeed, bringing value to both Quant and our customers!

During his time at Quant, José Miguel has experienced both challenges and successes, facing difficult obstacles as well as memorable moments. One of the things that stands out the most during this decade is his constant drive to support our customers, genuinely caring about how they can improve their operations.

– I have developed a lot of different skills from all the different roles that Quant has offered me. The most valuable lessons from all the good and the bad experiences are to understand how to prioritize and put my efforts into things that will bring the value expected from customers and other stakeholders, to enable a sustainable business, he says.

“I am very grateful and proud”

Our company values are passionate, professional, and proud. These values are cornerstones in José Miguels daily work, laying the foundation for his service-oriented mindset and customer focused approach.

– My focus is excellence in everything we do, but also to work with passion and feeling proud of what I do, to inspire others to live our culture as well.

And just as José Miguel has developed his career during this past decade, he has also seen how Quant as a company has evolved since the start.

– I think that Quant has adapted very well to the changing market. As a company fully dedicated to maintenance services, we can differentiate better compared to our competitors and be more flexible in delivering new services adapted to customer needs.

If you were to describe your Quant journey in one word, what would that be?

– Life! Quant has given me a lot of different opportunities to grow professionally, but also as a human being. I have evolved together with Quant, and I am very grateful and proud to have developed almost my entire career here.
