Spotlighting the Quant veterans: Anette Bengtsson Rämhed

In 2025, we are celebrating Quant’s 10-year anniversary as an independent company. Some of our professionals have been part of our journey since the early days, and one of them is Anette Bengtsson Rämhed, Administration Manager at Quant’s site in Ludvika, Sweden.
When Quant, previously a part of ABB, was established as an independent company in 2015, Anette Bengtsson Rämhed stepped into a role as administrator at the site in Ludvika, Sweden. Since then, her area of responsibility has expanded and today she works as an Administration Manager at the site.
– I remember very well when I got the chance to step into a leadership role. I accepted the offer with mixed feelings of fear and excitement but have never regretted that I had the courage to take the step. I think that Quant is good at empowering people who want to develop in their different roles and give them opportunities, she says.
“I have always enjoyed my work”
During her ten years at Quant, Anette has followed the development closely – all the challenges, changes and successes. And it was a big adjustment to go from being part of a larger company to starting up an independent business.
– It was a challenge to go from being colleagues to having a supplier and customer relationship, all the processes and routines that had to be created, and also many operational challenges. It took patience and perseverance, and it was important to keep everyone’s motivation up, she says.
At the same time, the sense of unity in the workplace has always been strong, largely thanks to great colleagues.
– During my ten years at Quant, I have built strong relationships, gained valuable experience, and seen both myself and the workplace change. But I have always enjoyed it and felt that it has been fun to go to work, a feeling that comes from the team spirit and collaboration with all fantastic colleagues.
And it is the collaboration and the teamwork are that Anette highlights as key factors when asked about the biggest lessons she has learned during her time at Quant, but also as a cornerstones to building successful partnerships with customers.
– A company that truly understands and listens to its customers builds strong, long-term relationships. It is the team, with its collective expertise, cooperation, and commitment, that determines how far you can go, she says.
“I am proud to say that I work at Quant”
Quant’s values are based on being passionate, professional, and proud. Pride is central to Anette’s job, while she also sees how the values are reflected in the daily work of the entire organization.
– What I am most proud of during my time at Quant is that I have always felt that I work according to Quant’s values. That I am proud to say that I work at Quant. I also think that with this attitude, I can bring a positive atmosphere to the workplace, she says.
– Without passionate, professional, and proud employees, we would not be able to deliver what we do or meet customer needs with the high quality that we are of today. A strong team with a high level of expertise is needed to be able to deliver what we do at our different sites.
In a previously published interview Stefan Grevsmuehl, Global Safety Manager and Safety and Operations Manager for Europe, said that the willingness to share experiences with colleagues and to be open to change were some of the most important pieces of advice he wanted to give to others. Something that Anette also emphasizes. When asked what advice she would give to someone who is just starting their career at Quant, this is exactly what she also highlights as key factors.
– Watch and learn, dare to ask questions, and ask for help from experienced colleagues. And share your own experience, it is valuable! See the possibilities, and be open to change.
Pekka Venäläinen, Regional Manager for Europe and the Middle East:
– Having a colleague like Anette, who is always there to solve problems when customers, employees or managers need help with pretty much anything, is very valuable. In addition, during her career, she has developed her professional skills and professional experiences, which she utilizes daily and generously shares with others. Thank you, Anette, for your loyalty and the great work you do for us!
