Quant appoints Maximilian Furley as Senior Vice President for South & North America
- The Swedish-based company, a leader in industrial maintenance, has appointed the executive to lead operations in Brazil, Peru, Chile, the United States, and Mexico.
With over 25 years of industry experience and a solid track record in sales, operations, and maintenance services, electrical engineer Maximilian Furley has been appointed Senior Vice President for South and North America at Quant.
In this role, Furley will lead operations in Brazil, Peru, Chile, the United States, and Mexico, where Quant currently holds a significant market share in industries such as mining and metals, pulp and paper, chemicals and petrochemicals, and fishing, among others.
The executive stated “I am joining Quant with immense motivation to contribute, alongside a diverse and professional team, to the company’s continued growth in South and North America. The challenges are enormous, and one of the main ones is to drive the integration of innovative solutions in industrial maintenance”.
Furley will lead Quant’s presence in the five countries, in addition to strengthening relationships with current key partners and implementing a renewed business strategy focused on sustainability.
The executive added that “our strategy for the coming years is clear. One of its strategic pillars is the execution of efficient, safe and sustainable operations, which includes processes that add value for everyone: customers, suppliers, partners and Quant”.
Before joining Quant, Furley worked for multinational companies based in Europe and North America, leading high-impact commercial operations in Latin America. Academically, Furley holds postgraduate degrees from universities in Europe, as well as Canada and Brazil, and has published technical content on automation and innovation.
Furley will report directly to the company’s CEO, Sami Pitkänen, and will be supported by the South & North America Management Team.
