Update on Quant and the Corona virus

Circumstances change quickly due to the spread of the Corona virus. At Quant, we are doing our outmost to protect and minimize any consequential impact on our employees, our customers, and the communities in which we operate.

The health and safety of our people is our primary concern, together with securing business continuity for ourselves and for our customers.

We continue to carefully monitor the situation and we take appropriate actions in line with local government and WHO guidelines to protect our people and to prevent the virus from spreading further. Therefore, you may see our personnel say no to shaking hands, have virtual meetings instead of face-to-face meetings, work from home when appropriate – essentially promoting social distancing and good personal hygiene.

Generally, in the event a Quant employee should become infected with the Corona virus, we secure medical treatment, we follow up with any personnel (be it Quant, customer or contractor) who may have been in contact with the infected, and we then assess which type of quarantine and other actions that may be required.

We have daily Corona virus update calls to ensure that information and actions are spread quickly throughout the organization. The partnerships we have with our customers are important to us and we have continuous contact with them to make sure that we can continue to provide excellent service.

This is an extraordinary situation, but together we are doing our best to help everyone stay healthy and safe. Safety first!
