Quant AB is pleased to announce that Mr Olof Sand has today assumed the responsibility for all aspects of the managing of the company as CEO of the Quant group based at the company\u2019s headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.<\/p>\n
Olof started his career at Midroc Electro as an installation technician and has since held progressively more senior positions at a number of companies in various industries. Among them are ABB Installation where Olof was Area Manager responsible for providing electrical and automation services and ABB Communications where held the position as Managing Director.<\/p>\n
Most recently Olof served as the CEO & President of Anticimex AB, a leading international supplier of pest control and related services. Anticimex currently has operations in 16 countries, with more than 4000 employees and a turnover of 400 million Euros.<\/p>\n
From 2005 to 2011 Olof held the position of CEO & President for Proact AB (NASDAQ: PACT). Proact is Europe\u00b4s leading independent data storage integrator and cloud services enabler with 700 employees in 14 countries and annual revenues of 300 million Euros.<\/p>\n
Olof has a degree in Electrical Engineering as well as an MBA in International Business Management.<\/p>\n
Mr Mikael Norin, who has been serving as acting CEO, will resume his duties as non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors effective today.<\/p>\n
